eBeam

What is eBeam

eBeam is a small electronic device (attaches to any existing whiteboard) that promotes change

  • Turns a whiteboard ... into an electronic sharing tool
  • Save written work to a PC
  • Edit information and replay meeting notes - just like a video
  • Print or email meeting notes
  • Share your meeting with remote locations
  • Use with a multimedia projector - interactive

Why is eBeam a good idea?

  • Gets everyone communicating (not just taking notes !)
  • Ideas get moving ... information is shared elctronically via the PC
  • Saves money ... half the price of old fashioned 'electronic copyboards’!
  • Lightweight and portable ... take it with you
  • Remote locations can share your meeting (free) !
  • Use it with your electronic projector ( eBeam Mouse)

What does eBeam do

  • eBeam transforms your existing whiteboard ... into a digital workspace
  • eBeam automatically records everything you write or draw on your whiteboard, digitizes them, then makes the information available to your connected computer.
  • Unlike traditional electronic whiteboards, eBeam is portable and easy to install.
  • The system consists of 4 digital pen sleeves, 2 small palm sized sensors and a digital eraser
  • eBeam can be carried around in a briefcase and weighs less than 1 kg. It's the lightest and most compact system around
  • Business tools such as eBeam are crucial to the modern business (regardless of size)
  • eBeam enhances teamwork, reduces travel costs and makes meetings more effective ... immediately !

PC requirements

  • eBeam requires a Windows compatible PC running a Pentium 100mHz or faster processor
  • Windows 95/98 or NT4.0
  • 4 MB of RAM (Meetings requires min 16MB)
  • 6 MB of hard disk space
  • VGA or SVGA colour monitor
  • Available 9 or 25 pin communication port (an adaptor for 25 pin is required as it not supplied as standard)
CD ROM drive to install the software

eBeam is supplied with 4 standard whiteboard pens and 4 pen sleeves (see picture below).
Simply put the pens in the sleeves ... and when you write on your whiteboard, a slight sound is emitted which is used by the sensors to track the exact location of your pen (so that it knows what and where you are writing)

Work Smarter with eBeam. Here's how ...

  • Everything you write on your whiteboard is saved to the computer (create ideas .. not notes !)
  • In fact, by being connected to your PC, e-Beam allows you to print everything you write ... in black & white ... or colour ... and on standard plain paper !
  • Better still, you can e-mail a client or co-worker, the contents of the meeting. If someone did not attend the meeting ... no problem ...just e-mail them
  • In fact, you can broadcast your meeting over the internet (or corporate intranet) in real time with the e-Beam software supplied (This is what computer boffins call a 'DataConference')
  • Export your meeting notes into popular formats, such as word processors, spreadsheets or web pages (that's right ... e-Beam lets you easily publish your whiteboard notes as a HTML, Adobe PDF, JPEG, GIF, TIF, EPS and more ... document)
